L'uvalla Review!!

I was able to do a review for L'uvalla.

L'uvalla is an Organic skin care line.  They have no harsh or dangerous chemicals.  So you can feel good about using this!!  They also do not do product tests on animals!  Any product that doesn't test on animals is a great company!!

I was able to try the Eucalyptus Toner

Here is the info about the toner:

BALANCING SYSTEM STEP 2 (Normal/Combo/Oily Skin) – This refreshing toner contains NO ALCOHOL and effectively clears away congestion in your skin and aids in fighting acne. Formulated with the most effective NATURAL & ORGANIC plant extracts from around the world, including Eucalyptus and Sage, this toner works synergistically with your skin to invigorate and protect your skin while delivering these results:
  • Unclog & Tighten Pores
  • Improve Skin Tone
  • Minimize Breakouts
  • Restore Skin to 4.5 PH Balance
  • Remove Hard Water Residue
  • Infuse Skin with Powerful Antioxidants
  • Protect from Environmental Pollutants
Application: After cleansing, apply toner to cotton pad and wipe thoroughly over entire face. Breathe in deeply through nose to benefit from aromatherapy while reading affirmation below. Exhale through mouth. Repeat.
I was impressed with this!  After cleaning your face, just wipe it all over and take a deep breath!  Not only does it relax your skin, it relaxes you!  My skin never felt so smoothed.  While I was using it, I got very few breakouts.  When I did get breakouts, they were small and didn't last long!

One of the big things I loved about this product was that it removes hard water residue!  I have mentioned before on my blog, that we have hard water and it sucks!  It dries out your skin and you get this icky build up feeling.  And that's a big negative when it's on your face!  This cleans your face of the build up and makes it feel so fresh and clean!

I was also sent a smaller sample of the foaming face cleanser and I must say that this is fantastic!  I always have the hardest time removing makeup and this stuff just wiped it away!!  Another fantastic product!!

If you haven't tried it, then you are missing out!  I haven't tried many Organic products before, but this one has got me sold on it!! LOVE IT!!

L'uvalla is offering my readers 20% of their orders!!
Enter LIFE20 when checking out!
(this expires on the 28th...I know, the code doesn't last long.  I scheduled this to post and it didn't post when I wanted it to)

THANK YOU L'UVALLA

Longstem Mens organizer review!!

I recently had the chance to review a product from Longstem Productions.

The Men's Organizer

I don't have a ton of jewelry, so I chose the Men's organizer

Here is some information from their website:
This door/wall organizer is for men out there in need of organization. This over-the-door organizer can easily display all the typical male accessories at a glance. It provides 43 special purpose hooks for easy accessibility and organization for ties, belts, watches, rings, keys loose change, cuff links, lapel pins, sunglasses, baseball caps, cell phones, IPods, chargers, etc.
It easily mounts on any wall, inside a closet or hang over any door and secures with one screw under the tray. This (2) two piece organizer includes two (2) over-the-door bracket mounts for hanging, four (4) wall mounts, including screws and anchors.

Product Features:
• 23 Non slip coated tie rack hooks- holds up to 69 ties
• 4 Non slip coated multiple belt hooks – holds up to 20 belts
• 6 multiple purpose hooks used to organize watches, rings, keys, etc.
• Durable 6 partition plastic tray – can be used for loose change, cuff links, glasses, etc.
• 7 Compartment rack used to organize and store cell phones, iPods, Blackberry’s, chargers, wallets, etc.
• 10 top row multipurpose hooks for keys, rings, caps, etc.

My thoughts:
This is a pretty handy organizer!  We have it on the back of our bathroom door, and it's so great to have it hanging there.  We have a small bathroom, so storage doesn't come easy in there.  I put brushes, hair accesories and other things on there.  Scott hangs up his belts on there, so they aren't laying all over the floor anymore.  I think this is a great product and totally worth the price!

So, if you are looking for something to hold your husbands ties, belts and those cuff links that are always missing.  Or if your husband is always misplacing his wallet or his watch, then you need this!!  This keeps everything in one space and makes it so easy to find!  With the separate compartments that can hold just about anything and the many hooks, and tray that works great for everything else!!

Longstem has a bunch of different organizers as well.  They have so many great jewelry organizers that I would love to have, I just have to get Scott to buy me a bunch or more jewelry! :)

If you are looking for a change to try out one of these products, head over to their website and enter their monthly giveaways!!  It's simple to fill out and only takes and minute!!

THANK YOU LONGSTEM!!

Boogie Wipes review and giveaway!!

I recently had the chance to review Boogie Wipes!!

What are Boogie Wipes?:  (take from their site)
Boogie Wipes are made with natural saline to dissolve boogies (mucus) caused by the common cold, allergies or otherwise booger-filled kid moments.
Extra soft, alcohol, phthalate and paraben free, Boogie Wipes are available in Great Grape, Fresh Scent, Minty Menthol and Simply Unscented. Recommended by pediatricians as a gentle, effective alternative to a dry tissue

They have an on-going promotion and it's called Save the Sleeve.  It's a fun way to help teach your children to put their boogies in the Boogie Wipe and not on their sleeve or anything else! :) I just checked it out and it's a cute website!!  The have fun and interactive things for your child to do! If you want to learn more about it or check it out the website is: SaveTheSleeve.com

(This is the package I received.  It included a full back of unscented
wipes and samples of the grape, fresh scent and mint.)

My thoughts:
First of all, you all are probably wondering why in the would would I want to try a childs product.  It's not just a child's product.  The are awesome for adults as well.  Scott and I loved them.  To use to blog your nose they work wonderfully.  You can also use them to wipe your hands off if you are around a sink, you can use them to wipe off your dog (which we used a couple times on Oscar) and to get them doggie eye boogers that are crusted on.  Oscar gets them a lot.  He has horrible separation anxiety, so he cries a lot when we aren't home, so we come home to a sad puppy that has eye crusty's that seem like they hurt if we try to get them off.

Boogie wipes were great for everything we used them for!  I love these!  They are so convenient to use and to have them in my purse!  The grape one was my favorite!  I absolutely LOVED the smell of this.

You will not be disappointed with these.  Whether you have children or not, you will love them!!

Sally Hansen Beauty Products review!

I received a fantastic package filled with Sally Hansen Beauty products!!

I have tried some Sally Hansen products before and have LOVED them!

This package didn't disappoint either.

The Pressed powder is awesome. I have tried many powders before and this is one of the best ones I have used.
The Fast Fix Concealer is another great product!  Instead of toting around all of this make-up for when I need to touch it up, I just carry this around and it works great any part that needs to be touched up
I LOVE the Sun glow powder bronzer!  How cute is it?  With the sun on it!  This was a great bronzer, the perfect color.
The eye shadow palette is perfect!  I received it in the Stone Eye. It has three different colors of eye shadow to make the perfect eye!  Light to a dark brown with a little sparkle, it's perfect!

I also received a bottle of liquid foundation.  I received it in the color porcelain.  This color is dead on with my skin tone (it looks lighter in the picture).  The foundation is not heavy like some others I have tried.  It stays on for awhile and doesn't need to be re-applied.  Altogether, it's an awesome foundation.

The Forever Stay Lip gloss is fantastic!!  Not sticky at all and lasts all day.  I re-applied once throughout the day and it didn't really need to be re-applied.  I was a little hesitant with the color (I received Creamsicle) but it looked great.  I goes on a light-ish pink color with a hint of orange...
The brown eyeliner was one of my favorite eyeliners so far.  I have had eyeliners that as soon as I applied it, it came off, but this one stayed on all day and I didn't have to re-apply
The last item I received was the loose powder.  This also was the perfect color for my skin tone.  I went on light and didn't feel heavy.

I love all of the products I received and I'm very impressed with the Sally Hansen Beauty products.  I love this brand and will be buying it when I run out.

I promise that you will also be impressed and will fall in love with these products!!

Streekers review

Have you ever wanted streaks of bold colors in your hair, but weren't sure how they would look with them?  And you would be stuck with them for awhile?

Well, Streekers is for you!!

With 8 different colors to choose from, you can't go wrong with them!

What are Streekers?: (taken from their site)
Streekers is true temporary hair color with a difference.  Instant. Liquid. Washes out when you want it out.  Not a mascara, not a crayon, not a paint. But a cool new hair color that uses innovative technology. In 8 vibrant colors: pink, blue, ultra violet, red, green, yellow, orange, purple.
Streekers is a stroke of genius at a moment’s notice. It’s so easy to apply with a sleek, sponge-tip applicator that ensures perfect coverage and control.  Streekers can be used over mousse, styling gel or wax and followed by hair spray. Best of all, you can brush your hair after Streekers dries. It won’t flake off (unlike other bright temporary hair colors). Your hair will be soft and the color will remain vibrant.
Streekers shades are vivid on blondes and blonde streaks and show as subtle highlights on darker hair.

(Sorry for the crappy picture)

I received the pink and the blue.

My thoughts:
I think Streekers is a awesome idea to add that bold touch of color to your hair.  With my hair color the pink didn't show up as the bright pink that it actually is, it turned out to be more of a purple-ish color.  Even so, I loved it!  I added the blue to the bottom of it and thought it looked pretty neat.  I also did a strip of blue in Scott's hair and it showed up very well.  My sister just tried it last night and she has lighter hair and pink really showed up in it!  It looked really cool!  The only issue I had with this was if you got it on your hands, it was really hard to get off.  Even if you used soap and water it took a couple washes to get it off your hands.  I washed my hair to get it out and it only took one wash.  So, it gets out of your hair with one wash, but a couple with your hands.  When you first apply it, make sure you keep the strand that you are applying it to away from your other pieces of hair, because it will dye all the other parts.  After it dried, it was a little stiff, but I just ran a comb through it really quick and it wasn't stiff anymore.  The dye comes in a small tube that looks like lip gloss and you apply it to your hair with a little foam-ish type brush.

I think this is a really cool product!  Perfect for anyone that wants to add a little boldness to their hair. If you don't try this product you are missing out!!

I promise you won't be disappointed!!

My week in numbers

I'm totally stealing this idea from Katie!!  I thought it was an awesome idea!!

4-number of full days I worked this week!  Left early once

1-number of 1/2 days I worked this week

20- number of minutes I waited to be seen by a doctor in The Walk in Clinic

1-number of hours I was in said clinic most of the time was spent on waiting for the doctor!

2-number of prescriptions I received from the doctor.

10-ish- the amount of times I have cried this week! DRAMA and PAIN!

9-ish-the number of pops I drank this week

6-the number of drinks I wish I was drinking!!

0-the number of good nights sleep I had!

456789-the number of times I wanted to punch someone this week! :)

1-the number of sets of blocks I have completed so far

13-the number of hours until my birthday!! I know it isn't going to be a good one.  So much drama!

2-the number of naps I will be taking this weekend

6-the number of hours I will be working on homework!  I HATE homework!

I've got a lot going on this weekend.  Drama with the family.  My nephew stayed the night last night and we did some crafts and he played the Wii!  He's playing the Wii again today.  This child is growing up so fast, it's crazy!  He was explaining something to me today and he seemed so much older than he is!!  Love this child!  My sister and him are spending the night tonight. They need to get away from the drama, so their staying here...Why does the drama always follow me.  I will tell people not to call me and involve me in their drama, but then when they call me to talk about something else, the drama always comes up! UGH!  I'm also sick of people jumping to conclusions...Would you just stop for a second and listen to me!  Anyways, I will be back tonight with some reviews and giveaways...

Random (bullet style)

Randoms in bullets! :)

  • I'm in a lot of pain today!  I left work at 12:30 and headed to The Walk-In clinic...I have pulled muscles or something in my neck and shoulder!  It hurts pretty bad!  I have slept wrong before and never have hurt this bad.  I blame it on moving my desk at work on Monday... I was given muscle relaxers and pain meds and was told to use heat and rest...I can barely turn my head and it hurts just sitting here!
  • On top of this pain, I have a really bad headache right now, but I'm trying to ignore it...It's not working!
  • Like I said in the last post, my b-day is coming up...It's really weird, because I'm not even that excited for it! Usually I'm over the top excited about it, but this year I'm not!  Maybe it's because I don't have any plans for it and will probably spent the day making blocks...
  • My school work is A LOT!  I have been waiting till the last minute to do it and I have to stop!  Yesterday, while trying to do it, I was bawling because my neck and shoulder hurt so bad!  And I sat on the computer doing it until about 8pm!  Like 3.5 hours!  It's keyboarding!  I didn't think it would be that much work! But it is and I have to stop waiting until the last minute!  My psychology homework is a lot too, but it doesn't take up that much time...
  • I CANNOT wait until October 1st!  We are headed downstate to stay one night and do some shopping and then the next day we are heading to Canada!! Only 16 more days!!!  I think that my excitement for this is taking over the excitement for my birthday!
  • The month of October is going to be so busy for us!  We are going to Canada the first week of October, we have a wedding to go to the next weekend, then we are heading downstate to visit our friends in Lansing the next weekend to do our annual Halloween trip.  We go see a horror move, visit with them and find something "scary" to do.
  • I'm so sick of fake people!  People these days are just starting to piss me off.  Don't text me and pretend to give a shit about what I'm up to and how I am an then look for gossip!  That doesn't fly with me.  You clearly didn't give a shit about what I was doing and how I was.  Just get right to the point next time!
  • I'm also sick of people who can't live without drama!  If you have to say "I think I'm going to start some drama on facebook" about posting something, then you are immature and need to find something better to do with your life!
  • Karma is a bitch and I hope it bites some people BAD!
  • If you all didn't notice yesterday, I'm done with Learn Something New Tuesday.  Yesterday was my last one.  I think I'm going to stop Wandering Through Wednesday since I always forget to post it.
  • I will be thinking of some other meme's to do, but not for awhile.
  • I will be doing a week of giveaway's again this year!  2-4 giveaways will be surprise packages!!  I'm excited for it!!
I think that's it for tonight!  I think I'm calling it a night!  My brain hurts to sit here and stare at the screen!

Tuesday, September 13, 2011

:-)

My birthday is in 5 days!!! Yay!! Actually I'm not super excited about it right now because I'm in lots of pain. I must of pulled something or slept wrong because my neck and shoulder hurt so fricken bad!!! It hurts so bad I've been in tears a couple times... I'm laying in bed with a heating pad on it write now... Ugh!!!

But I thought I would do a bday wish list!!!:
A puppy
A Kia soul
A diamond ring
Flowers!!!!
Balloons!!! Lots of them!! I love balloons!!
Giftbaskets
And whatever else I can think of in 5 days!!! :-)

See! I'm super simple :-) haha
