When I came across a review for the Get in the Kitchen Bitches cookbooks, I knew I had to contact them about doing a possible review!
The name of the cookbooks is what caught me eye!!
I LOVE it! :)
They sent me both of their cookbooks!
Get in the kitchen Bitches (this ain't your grandma's cookbook)
and
Get back in the kitchen Bitches (we're not done yet)
The names of some of the recipes in these books are hilarious!
Here are some of the names:
1st book:
Pistol whip Pasta
Chicken with Fungus
On you knees! Chicken
2nd book:
You're a pig, pasta
Pimp me out, pasta
Bitchin' Burrito
I tried a recipe from each book and they were both very good.
The first book I tried the Potato, Broccoli and Cheese Kugel. It was so good! I have never had this before and I am totally gonna have to make it again!
The second book I tried the Tortilla rolls stuffed with Cream Cheese and Salsa! These were so simple to make, yet so good!
These books have so many great sounding recipes in them, I can't wait to make some more!
So, if you are looking for a non-traditional cookbook, you will want to purchase one or both of these!
Both of the books are very well priced! They also offer some free recipes on their website!
In the back of the cookbook they have photo galleries that are hilarious!
They also have a section in the back of the books where you can write some notes!
They also have a ton of funny wording in the books! At the end of each recipe it says "serve it, bitch!" :) haha
