PLEASE READ ME!!!

I know everyone is going through something or some kind of struggle in their life but I would like to ask that all the people that I follow to head over to Summer's Story and send her some love and send lots of prayers!!

Summer has been battling a disease for awhile now and has been fighting so hard to get into remission and I know she can do this and I know that she WILL do this!!  She is a very strong person with a big heart and is the most generous person!!  I absolutely adore her!  We have become REALLY good bloggy friends and I can't wait to meet her in real life (it will happen one day!!)

She recently took a trip to JHU to try and get things figured out with this disease.  Well, the trip wasn't a good one and they told her that her disease is "Very active"...Right now her body isn't doing too well...But of course it's Summer and she is still keeping her head up!!! This is what I love about her!!  Even when she is going through some really crappy days, she is still there holding her head up high!!! 

Sweet Summer, you will beat this, you will get into remission...They WILL figure out something!!!  So keep holding your head up high and think positive thoughts and keeping praying...I know you are scared and it's ok to be scared...You are going through crap right now...But remember to stay strong...Don't hold in those tears, let them go!!!  I know I will keep praying!!!

So, please, if you have a couple minutes head on over, get caught up on her story and pray for her, send her positive thoughts!!!  Give her encouragment that this will be figured out and she WILL get into remission!!!

Rambles...

We aren't doing anything for Scott's birthday today, so here I am sitting here being bored I thought I would do a rambling post....

~ It's raining today so driving to the zoo would be pointless because it's raining there and it's supposed to thunderstorm...So the zoo trip is put off for two weeks...

~ My mom is coming home tomorrow...She went to Minnesota a little over a month ago to visit some family...I'm picking up my nephew tomorrow at noon and we are going to make a sign and go get her from the airport...My mom hadn't seen my nephew in awhile... I called and asked my nephew if he wanted to come with me and he was SOOO excited!  It was so cute :)

~ My mom will also be staying with us for a couple of days until she finds a place to live...I need to start looking for her, because I don't really want her here that long :)

~ Scott took both Oscar and Yoshi to the vet this morning...Yoshi does have ear mites  :(  They treated it and gave him some other medicine and he is a "special" kitty and has licked it a couple of times and he spazes out when he licks it...It's kind of funny (don't worry, Scott looked up the medicine and it's not going to hurt him...It makes him drool puddles :) and it might make him throw up but he's ok)  Oscar does not have ear mites!!!  They did not get passed to him!!!  This makes me very happy...The vet said he more than likely got them when he was at the Humane Society...Yoshi has gained some weight!!!  He now weighs 4.5 pounds!!!  He was 3 pounds 6 ounces!! Yay for getting to be a fat kitty :)

~ Scott's making me watch Hot tub time machine :)  It's kinda funny so far...

~ I really hurt my shoulder frisbee golfing yesterday...I hurt my shoulder when I got in the car accident last year and it has hurt every now and then...Well frisbee golfing didn't help it!!!  But I will totally go again!!!

Well that's it for now...I think a nap is in order today... Snuggle up with the hubby and take a nap! :)

Yes, there is LOTS of things going on in this post... I will start out with

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

LOVE MUFFIN!!!!

Scott's birthday is today!! He is 29!!!

I'm sooo glad that I get to spend the rest of his birthday's with him!!! 

We may be heading to the zoo in Grand Rapids, but we just found out that Yoshi may have ear mites, so him and Oscar are heading to the vet first thing in the morning to get this taken care of...Oh, the joys of having two "children."  I hope it's not bad and can be treated fairly quickly....

But anyways..This part is supposed to be about Scott...

So, again, Happy Birthday!!  I love you bunches!! 

I hope you have a great birthday!!!! :)

Scott went and picked out a new frisbee golf disc for his birthday...I will be

making him a birthday card sometime today!!!  If we don't go to the

zoo, we will hang out all day and do whatever he wants, and maybe

I'll even cook him dinner! :)

Her and I have gotten a lot closer in blog land!!  She is one of the most

sweetest people I have ever "met"  I love her blog and everything that she blogs about

and she is pretty hilarious!!!  Her one year anniversary is coming up soon with her hubby

and I'm so happy for her, they make the cutest couple!!! :)

I'm really late with posting this...But I guess it's better late than never!!!  I didn't do my normal Friday follows, because I got home too late because the hubs locked the house keys in the house and we had to hunt down our landlord to get the spare key... :)  While we were waiting for them to call us we went and frisbee golfed at the college...I suck big time, but it was still fun!

forever to fall asleep even on sleeping pills!!

That is why I'm going to stop posting on the Sparkle Photography...  :(

The pictures I post on there are on my regular blog too...It will still be up, if you still want to go take a look around...But I will not longer be doing my "Picture a day" I have been taking a picture everyday, but it's just too much to go on there and post a picture every night!  And then I would get really behing and had to do multiple posts at once, which could clog up blogger!!

So from now on the pictures that I post on this blog with have the blog title Life with the Dietrich's on them instead in SP for Sparkle Photography...As soon as I get more into taking pictures, and learning how to use Photoshop, I might go take pictures of other things and may make it a side hobby with Scott, but for now...All pictures will be posted on this blog...

My other blog, Yummm...Food!  Will still be up and running!!  Yes, I know I haven't posted a recipe or a meal on there in a very long time, but belive me there with be some coming soon!!!

I'm feeling like I need a blogcation, so if I can get some people set up to do guest posts, I think I may take one....ANYONE WANT TO DO A POST FOR ME??

And then they gave him a bandana and I thought I would mess with him and make him extra cute :)

Nail Polish and Necklace Swap...

I'm not getting many responses back, so I thought I would just use what I've gotten so far...I have also gotten an email about people receiving a cheap necklace and an already open bottle of nail polish!! There was a limit set and I know money is tight at times, but I wish that if some of you were having trouble that you wouldn't of emailed me to let me know that you either had to back out or needed some help. I am sooo sorry for this person!  Someone emailed me about this, and I haven't looked into this issue completely yet, so I hope it's either not true or they have a reason why? 

This was supposed to be a fun swap where you learned about new people and got fun stuff while doing it.  But apparently that is not the case, for some people.  I understand that it's hard to get everthing out in just a couple weeks, but it has now been a month and people still have yet to received their packages and to those that haven't I AM SOOOO SORRY!!  I wish I could send you all stuff, but sadly I cannot.  I also know that there are people that had custom necklaces and those took a little bit and now some things got lost in the mail. 

I understand that things come up, and I'm not angry about this, but I am a little irritated.  I'm irritated because this was my very FIRST swap that I held and it didn't go very well!!  Yes, I do know that this come up and that is why I'm not angry about it...I do hope that you all that joined in will have your packages sent to your partners in the next week...

I WANT to do another swap and I will be posting about it in the next week, so I really wish that some of you will join in with me...

Again, I'm sorry for anyone that hasn't received their packages.  Please remember that things do come up!  And please remember that I'm not angry about this and still love every one of you :)
