Weekend re-cap

Friday:  I got out of work at 3, and we came home hung out for a little bit then made home made pizza!  YUMMY!!!  We watched my nephew (I know I already posted about that) He was sooo good for us!!

Saturday: We went shopping (I know I already posted about that too) :) Ate and watched a movie!  Yeah, it was a pretty relaxing weekend...

Sunday: I painted 5 canvases!!!  And I love how each of them turned out!  We are going back to Michael's this week to get some more...I love home made art work!!  I will post pictures soon...We made a roast for dinner, and just lounged around ALL day...my sister and nephew came over for a little bit.  I just got me butt in the shower for the day (it's 9pm :))  My husband is already in bed and has been sleeping for the last couple of hours!!  I'm finishing up my blogging and possibly going to head to bed...

I also announced the winner to my giveaway HERE!!!  I have it set that I will be doing another one sometime in March....So stay tuned!!  This one is going to be about the five senses! And things that I love that relate to them!!

I don't really have a style...If I like something I will try to throw it in with what I already have...But maybe a little traditional/modern...

7. Have you ever been skinny dipping?
I have...I have a story to go with the skinny dipping, but I will keep that to myself, because who knows who reads this...

A lot of things...But gas and asphalt are the worse, because they give me migraines...

It's saturday night...Time for a post...

Last night with my nephew was AWESOME!!!  He was sooo good...Of course he did play the Wii all night, but hey it kept him good :) He and my husband both woke me up around 8:30 :( BOO...My parents came to pick him up this moring because he was headed to a cub scout compatition...Sledding :)  Scott and I were going to go, but decided to make breakfast then head out to get the shopping done....Here's some pictures of last night:

I purchased a couple things...And forgot to get and ovulation monitor (so we are heading back tomorrow) and everywhere is sold out of the Wii fit, but I was able to get these!!

Good old Jillian Michaels is going to KICK my ass :)....And Super monkey balls for my DS

A new travel case that comes with a make up bag!!!  And Scott had to get his external hard drive...

I also go some weights to go along with the Jillian Michaels work out...I will be starting it SOON!

 I FINISHED my Swap gift shopping ans should be sending those out on Monday...I hope the ladies I got like what I got them :)

We headed to Red Lobster for lunch-dinner, then home!!  Now we are watching Saw 6....I'm sooo sleeping in tomorrow!  But do have to get up and start the roast!!

Q and A time...

My first giveaway is not even complete and I'm already starting to think of the next one I want to do!!!  So many ideas, but it must stay in the budget that my husband will set for me, :( I would give you guys HUGE gifts if I could!!!

~ALSO...My husband and I are going shopping tomorrow and....Here it goes...We Are Buying An Ovulation Monitor!!!!  We are going to start (fully) TTC!!!!!!!  And if in two months go buy and there is nothing brewing,  I will FORCE go to the EVIL BITCH doctor....  :)

Hearing more and more people talk about how wonderful it is to be pregnant or have children is making me really want to have one...But of course, if she puts me on Clomid and it doesn't work and she starts talking about all these procedures, we will stop and attempt TTC by ourselves (we cannot afford these procedures)....If we absolutley cannot have children we will either look into adoption or we will just be the proud parents of dogs!!  (which I'm 100% ok with this)

My nephew is hanging out on the couch watching cartoons falling asleep...This babysitting thing was SUPER easy...Buy yourself a Wii and you will never have to be bugged every 2 seconds! :)  I love these nights...He's sooo good when he comes here...I don't see him that much, because I don't talk to my sister or my parents much and since they are living with my parents, I don't go over there that often...

But anyways...I might do one more post tonight, or I might leave a couple for tomorrow...Ah, hell I'll save it for tomorrow this sleeping pill is making it hard for me to hold my head up...

1. Would you ever vacation alone?
Probably not...I hate being home alone.  So going on vacation to somewhere that I have no clue about and being alone, that doesn't sound like a fun time to me...


2. Do you go the speed limit?
Nope...In the winter I go WAY under and in the non-winter times, I tend to go over...But I don't drive much...I did finally drive for the first time in months, on Wednesday when I went to go get my hair done...My hair dresser is less than a minute down the road :)


3. Why did you start blogging/following blogs?
I think I read about blogger somewhere and I thought it was a cool idea...And now I follow people because I love learning about new people!  And plus who doesn't love the giveaways that some wonderful bloggers give away!


4. Where do you shop for yourself?
I LOVE.LOVE Fashion Bug...They closed the one in my town, so I have to go to good old Cadillac...
5. What was the song that you danced your first dance with your spouse to at your wedding...or...what song would you like your first dance to be to?
"How do I live without you" by Trisha Yearwood...This was also sang at our ceremony...

It's been awhile...

....since I did an actual post...


My weekend re-cap from last weekend never made it to my blog...So I shall give you all a brief re-cap...


Friday I got out of work at noon and we headed to Lansing.  We visited with some friends, went to Potter park zoo and on our way home we stopped at Fashion Bug and I got some clothes :)  There's my brief re-cap :)

This week has been SOOOOOO long!!!  Tuesday we got a new resident at work.  Oh that was a blast!  The resident came with no medications and only scripts for some of her medications!  I was able to get all the medications set up and get everything settled...I didn't get out of there until 5:30pm...I had gotten there at 7:30 in the morning so it was a 10 hour day...For three years I worked three 12.5 hours shifts a week so 10 hours isn't that bad, but if you get there at 7:30 at work pretty much the whole day without taking a break to eat anything, it's a long day...(yes, I just whined :))

Last night I got about maybe a total of I'd say 5 hours asleep...My dog is STILL SICK!!!!  I'm so tired of waking up a bunch of times to a dog that is either sneezing a hundred times, snorting or coughing...We are pretty sure he has Kennel Cough and it usually takes care of itself and doesn't need medical attention.  But it can also last up to THREE WEEKS!!!! Ahhhhh!!  I'm never going to sleep again! :) (I just whined again!)

Last night I had a hair appointment.  I made this appointment three days before and still couldn't decide on what I wanted to do with my hair...I asked my husband what I should get done and he replys with...A BOUFFANT!  What?! Really? So, I search bouffant (not really knowing what it was) and this is a picture from it!

I love you, dear but I AM NOT getting this done :)  He was completely joking! So I settle for the normal layered hair cut...It's pretty short, but I like it...I also got it stripped because we have hard water and it gets pretty red and built up on the bottom...I did take some before and after pictures, but I seriously look like complete crap!  I asked to still keep it ponytail length since I hardly ever wear my hair down, but it's a little too short to wear up, so today I had to wear it down...It sucked! (Ok, it wasn't that bad)

This weekend we don't have anything planned other than to go do a little shopping...I need to get the gifts for my swaps!!! And we are looking into getting a chair for the living room and getting rid of part of our
sectional...It's too big and we have 2 couchs in our living room so we don't need a big ol' sectional in here...

We are possibly getting the Wii fit again this weekend...We got it awhile ago and niether one of us used it that much so we sold it to my sister, but I need to lose some weight, so we are getting it again...  I'm thinking I will do this and the 30-day Shred...It's going to kick my ass, but I'm hoping I lose some good weight!!
But I think that this is it for now....
