My vacation!!

I had a feeling that this post was going to take a very long time to write...Well I was right, but the thing is, I'm going to try and write it all in one sitting.  I have slacked and haven't started it :)

So here goes...

Friday was my first day of vacation!  I was driven insane by the painting people!!!  I left to go pick up the rental car and got some lunch, headed over to Banfield and got Oscar a doggy "pedicure" so his nails weren't like freddy claws when he went to his sitters house.  Came home and sat around and was annoyed some more by the painting (who mind you hasn't been here ALL week this week!  But he's dragging out this painitng process)  Headed over to Oscar's sitter at about 4, dropped him off and headed to the Laundromat...BY MYSELF!!  I HATE doing laundry there especially by myself :(...Met up with Scott for dinner then headed over to pack!!!

Saturday: We got up kinda early and headed out to start our trip!!!  Before stopping at our hotel we stopped by the Detroit zoo!!!  I love the Detroit zoo!!  The part that I hated was, the fact that the Polar Bear was hiding and we didn't get to see him at all :( Oh, well...We took the train to the begging of the zoo and made our way back down...Oh boy were my calves killing me!!!  We headed to the hotel, only to find out that they bumped us to a different hotel!! WTH!?!  Scott talked to the manager and bitched and the manager gave us 2 nights free at La Quinta across the street...Yeah, that was happening!  I'm VERY picky about our hotels and this one was just not cutting it!!!  So we get up tp our room and Scott calls over to Hyatt place and requests them to switch us to another Hyatt place at a different location, they agreed and it was still free!!!  We spent the rest of the night in our hotel! We have this thing, that when we go stay in a hotel somewhere we HAVE to get pizza for dinner...It was REALLY good!  We watched "Youth and Revolt" very weird movie, and I didn't find it that funny.

Sunday:  Got up and headed out to iHOP!!! LOVE iHOP....I hate pancakes though, but still love it!  We then started our drive to Toledo.  As we were getting ready to leave Michigan, Scott thought it would be  awesome to go 100MPH...Yes he made it there...Though I did tell him that if he got pulled over he owed me a new Coach purse...He didn't get pulled over :(  We get to the zoo and spent the day there...It was HOT on this trip...I even got a little sunburnt!  We then headed back and stopped to get some really good jerky then we headed to T.G.I FRIDAYS!!! I LOVE this place, they really need to get one here!!  Spent the rest of the night sitting on my ass.  My legs KILLED after walking 2 zoos!!  I kept soaking my feet and legs in out bathtub...We never made it to the pool which sucked, but that's ok.  I spent about 2 hours maybe even more getting all my giveaway winners stuff together (which I mailed out today...$52!!!!!) DAMN!!!

Monday:  Got up and started out journey back home.  Stopped at Big Boy to eat some breakfast and of course, we had to make a stop in Cadillac to go shopping at Fashion Bug!!!

Tuesday:  Go up WAY too early, took the rental back, did some errands, and came home.  Went back into town to have lunch with a friend and came home and sat around until I had to go pick Scott up from work...

Wednesday:  My last day of vacation :(  Scott stayed home SICK :( boo!! And we did a whole lotta nothing!!

Thursday:  Back to work...But first I have to take Scott to Urgent Care...He has a Middle Ear Infection and the Stomach Flu!!! LOVELY!!!  Took him back home and headed into work!!

Friday:  Scott still sick!!  I called in for him.  Took half day off of work to take care of him...So this week I have worked a total of NINE hours!! Man, was that exhausting :) haha

So my vacation wasn't very relaxing it was more go, go, go! :(  But I'm looking forward to THREE days to sleep in!!!  I do have to get cleaning this messy ass house!!
