30 Things About Me

1. I have been a college student since 1999, which means I have been in college for over 10 years now. 
2. I will be graduating from college following the summer semester this year!
3. I still miss my dad.  It has been almost three years since he passed away and I still miss him and it still hurts just as much as it did when he passed.  I really don't think I will ever get over it.  Life is so much different without him around.  I would give just about anything to have one more minute with him to be able to tell him how much I love him.

4. Story of how I proposed to Katie:  We were in the mall, and we happened to stop at Osterman's jewelry store.  We were looking at rings, and I just felt that the time was right.  So, I looked at Katie, and said, "So, do you wanna?"  It was the lamest proposal ever.  Luckily she didn't dump me on the spot and instead said she would marry me!
5. Favorite job I have ever had:  GKC Theatres.  There was just so much fun that I had there.  A lot of great stuff happened over the almost 3 years that I worked there.  I met Katie there.  I am pretty proud of the fact that I was a manager at the age of 18 as well. 
6. I don't really like many dogs, so the fact that I own one is pretty weird.  I do love my dog very much. He is the cutest dog that has ever lived. 
7. I love taking pictures.  This is a habit/hobby I picked up from Katie.
8. I love to travel.  There are so many places in the world that I want to go to, and I know I will never be able to visit them all. But I will do as many as I can in my lifetime.
9. I am addicted to the FarmVille game on Facebook.
10. I am diabetic.  It really sucks, but isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
11. I have owned every type of Nintendo gaming system made.
12. My favorite TV shows of all time is Fresh Prince and Roseanne.
13. My favorite movies are Commando, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Pineapple Express, and The Strangers.
14. I really don't listen to music.  I listen to sports talk radio.
15. I am really blessed to have a wife and marriage like I do.  We never argue.  We get along so great.  I see so many other marriages in which the people just seem to hate each other and I wonder how they can act like that towards the person they are supposed to love. 
16. I love baseball.  I used to dream of being a Major League Baseball player.  Never happened, but I have never stopped loving the game.
17. I have a fear of bridges...don't like them at all, but I am getting better about going over them.
18. Despite how my time ended there, I really did enjoy working at Tuffy.   I got to spend a lot of time with my dad before he passed away.  I also made a few good friends while working there.  One of the things I am most proud of is that I learned how to work on and repair cars.  I don't know everything about them, but I learned a fair deal and became a certified mechanic.  I am truly sorry about how things ended there, but it was for the best anyway. I really couldn't stand being there anymore without my dad there.
19. I really want to move to Tennessee and am convinced to do it.
20. My favorite food is a casserole that is made of rice, chicken, broccoli, cream of chicken soup and cheese.
21. I like to play disc golf.  I am not very good at it, but have a blast doing it.  It usually means spending some great times with friends.
22. I have some pretty bad road rage.  I have been trying to work on getting better with this and have made a lot of progress in the last 6 months or so. To clarify, I have never done anything violent or tried to hurt anyone because of this road rage.  It usually just involves me getting pretty ticked off because of the stupid crap that people do on the roads.
23. I don't like when people ask you to join random stupid pages on Facebook.  Especially if those pages involve getting stuff for FarmVille.  People just don't get that you can't get anything for that game through those pages.
24. If I could do it, I would eat breakfast food for every meal.
25. I am permanently banned from selling stuff on eBay.  When I worked at the theatre, we used to throw away the trailers for the upcoming movies once we didn't need them anymore, so I tried selling them on eBay.  Yeah, that is not legal, so I was permanently kicked off.  So anything bought and sold on there has to be in Katie's name.
26. I dream about tornadoes a lot. It is weird but I have had dreams that involve tornadoes since I was about 10 years old.  It is never the same dream, just different ones with Tornadoes involved.
27. Niagara Falls is the coolest place I have ever been to. The power in those falls is just amazing.
28. I was born in Saginaw, MI.  My family moved to Connecticut when I was about 5 or so, and we lived there for a year until we moved to Traverse City. 
29. I am a movie junkee.  Katie and I have over 1,000 DVDs and our collection is always growing.
