I'm really bored!

So here I sit, in bed, watching a Roseanne marathon all alone :( Scott went to Lansing for the night to visit with his friend...So I'm going to update.
Car: We are driving Scott's moms van. The Beretta is a very big piece of crap. It really does feel like it's going to fall apart driving down the road...I think it's time to put her to sleep :). We get to switch with Scott's mom every now and then and use her PT Cruiser, which I REALLY like :) Hopefully we can get a car around August or September...We did go look at cars at Price Point awhile back, but decided we weren't going to buy one just yet...With Scott not having a job a not knowing when he will get one, it's kind of hard to think about a car payment. And when it comes down to buying a car, we will have to put down a nice down payment. I ruined my credit when I was younger and stupid, so I can't get that great of a loan :( If only I could find someone to co-sign for me, it would make it soooo much easier...Or better yet, someone to give me a FREE car :)

Job: I don't think I wrote about this in my last post. But as of May 16Th, I have been at my job for SIX years!!!

Last weekend we went to St. Charles to visit with Scott's family. We stayed in Birch Run. We also visited Vassar. Scott used to live there when he was little and he wanted to go see if he could find his old house...We went to Saginaw also. There we found Scott's grandpa's old house. It was nice to visit with all of his family, since we hardly get to see them because they live downstate. We got to see his Aunt Diane and Uncle Mike again, before they left to go to Connecticut for awhile. And got to visit with his Aunt Kate and Uncle Gary. And of course while we were there we made a couple stops to do things. The stops weren't very long since we had to take Oscar with use downstate because it was to short of notice to get him his babysitter. We put his pen in the back of the van and he sat in there while we did things...He did pretty well.

The things we did:
Castle Museum (Saginaw)-

The Castle Museum

It's an old Castle in downtown Saginaw. It was really nice...Pretty interesting to learn stuff about the old days. I had a good time
Us in the Castle elevator

We of course found a zoo in Birch Run...What would a trip for Scott and Katie be if there wasn't a zoo visit :) I loved this zoo...I don't think it matters what the zoo looks like or how big it is, I'm gonna love it!!!
WILDERNESS TRAILS ZOO

Feeding the goats

These goats wouldn't let you get the food out of the machine...You would put in your money, turn the thing and they run up there and eat it right out of the machine...
We also made a stop at the COACH outlet in Birch Run!!! Oh how I love that store. I finally own a coach purse!
Next we are going camping! A weekend a mile down the road, sleeping on the floor and hanging out with bugs!! :) How fun...I grew up camping, so I love it. Scott camped when he was younger, but always where there was electricity. We are going rustic.
We are headed to the UP soon. Our SIX YEAR anniversary is in July and we go to the UP every anniversary. We pretty much do all of the same stuff that we do every year, but I love it up there. Last year we did WAY too many things and I think this year is going to be about the same. I have ELEVEN days off of work in a row!!! And four of them will be spent in the UP. The other ones I will be doing nothing but sitting on me butt relaxing...I can't wait I'm soooo excited to have that many days off in a row.
But I think this is it for now...It's not Saturday night anymore...I'm finishing this up at work on Monday...When I get home I will have to post some more pictures from our trip downstate because I don't have them on this computer.
UNTIL NEXT TIME!
~Katie~
