Since i'm home alone, I might as well update!
Not much has gone one since I last wrote...But I'm sure I can write hole lot about nothing :)
We took a trip to the UP in April...It started out as just going to be a one day trip up there to go to the zoo...Then it was an overnight trip..Well it ended up being a 2 night trip :) It was fun...I really liked the zoo up there. It was just a little zoo, but you got to feed the deer, there were peacock's and roosters that followed you around. It was just a fun little zoo...And I love zoos! It doesn't matter how many animals are at a zoo, I'm going to love it no matter what!
The school semester is DONE!!!!! I got a 4 in my online class and a 3.5 in math!!! Which means I'm on the dean's list again!!! Scott also passed his classes...He got a 4 in two of his classes and a B in the class that was taught really stupid and was kind of hard to learn because of the way It was taught and he didn't think he was going to pass but he DID!!! So now we are on vacation from school until September!!! Which in September all of my classes are online!!!
Last Thursday we started our journey to Virginia!! What a LONG drive! We stayed in Somerset, PA the first night...Then Friday and Saturday night we stayed in Chesapeake, VA...We had planned on leaving Saturday right after the wedding, but it got to 95 degrees that day and we were WAY too tired to start driving home...Sunday night we stayed in Toledo Ohio...And of course, before we could leave Ohio we had to stop and visit the zoo...I LOVE this zoo...They have Polar Bears, that were awake and up doing things...The Polar Bears in Detroit when we went weren't doing anything, because it was too hot!! I have added more states to my very short list of states I have been to...I have only been to Ohio before and Canada twice....So no I can add Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C, and Virginia to my list!!! Greg's wedding was very nice...It's cool to have a sister in law now! Met a bunch of new people and realized I'm very socially "retarded" :) haha...It's really awkward for me to meet new people, I don't ever know what to say to people so I'm just like Hi, I'm Katie...How are you...And that's it!!! :) haha...All well...We got to see Scott's Aunt Diane and Uncle Mike, who we haven't seen in awhile...I was sick the whole trip so that kind of sucked... But anyways, for a very long trip I had a pretty good time even though, I was sick the whole entire time and didn't get to sleep in except for the last day....
So, we drive all the way to Virginia with no problems and 2 days after we get back, I drive myself to work and get rear-ended!!! I was almost to work and was getting ready to turn on the road that I work on and BAM!!! The chick that hit me said that she couldn't see me because the sun was in her eyes!!! Which is a bunch of crap...I got that way 5 days a week to get to work and the sun is NEVER pointed towards your face...So either she wasn't paying attention and seen me at the last minute and didn't have time to slam on her breaks and swerved and hit me, or see was trying to pass me on the right, didn't slow down and didn't get over far enough....Either way she hit me going about 45-55 MPH and spun me around so I was turned in the total opposite direction as I was going!!! I'm really sore still, but nothing major happened to me...We are now out of a car and are back to driving the Beretta which is going to fall apart at any moment...It also has no A/C...So we are going to get Scott's moms van and drive that until September, until we get our student loan refund check and buy and decent used cheap car...We can't afford another car payment yet...All well, stuff happens...
We were gonna take a trip to Philly in October, but I don't think that will be happening now...Now we need to spend our money on a car...So I was thinking about just going to Chicago...Which would be a lot cheaper than Philly, but should be as equally as fun.....
But I think that is it for now...I'll post more if I remember anything!
