It's about time!!!!!

So, I haven't written anything on here since the beginning of August....I spend WAY too much time on MySpace and Facebook and never get to this....And with school and working full time, I'm always tired and don't feel like writing on this...Since I'm sitting here getting tired, I thought I could spend sometime and update this....


Lets see....
August: We didn't do much, we went to the Zoo in Grand Rapids. We have been there so many times, but I still love it...And it's always nice to get away and go stay in hotels... We also went on a Camping trip with my parents...Oh boy was that a blast...NOT...Of course we went to the fair...Logan turned SIX!!!! He is getting soooo big it's crazy!!! But I'm pretty sure that is all we did in August...


September: We went to Canada!!! I love Canada. At least that's what I thought until we go to Toronto...I HATE Toronto, way too many stupid drivers. But We did have a lot of fun. We stayed in Toronto for 3 days. Then we went and stayed in Niagara Falls for a night. I LOVE Niagara falls! We stayed in a Suite on the 10Th floor overlooking the falls!!! I loved it!! I do have to say even though I wasn't impressed with Toronto at all, it was my favorite vacation EVER! Scott was sick the night we stayed in Niagara Falls, so we didn't make it down to see the falls at night, but we could see them all lit up from our hotel room. I did wake up in the middle of the night, with a really, really bad Migraine! Scott went down to the front desk to ask that if he needed to take me into the hospital where it was and asked what to expect. Well since we are American, we would have to pay cash upfront!! So the front desk person recommended that we cross the border into New York and there was a hospital right there. But we didn't end up having to go to the hospital because 1. I'm stubborn and wont go and 2. We didn't want to have to deal with the hassle of going through the border and getting out all of our paperwork. So I took some Motrin, used an ice pack and was all better in a couple hours.


Here's a list of the things we did in Toronto (I might have to update this later, because It's going to be hard for me to remember everything we did:

Toronto Zoo:
It's HUGE!!! We couldn't even do all of it, it's that big. We didn't see some exhibits that we have seen at other zoo's because we knew we weren't going to miss much

African Zoo Safari: Before you go in there are signs warning you that they aren't responsible for damages to your car and that you have to keep your windows shut and doors locked!! Yeah, you drive around this place and the animals can walk right up to your car!!! We were a little worried, because we took Scott's mom's van to Canada!! None of the animals got very close, but I do have to say that, that was my favorite part of the whole 4 day trip. There were so many animals there.

Hippo bus tour: This is where you take a bus and tour downtown Toronto then the bus turns into a BOAT!!! And you go through the water and take a tour there. That was a lot of fun too.

Casa Loma: A very BIG Castle. It was sooo pretty, it had really amazing architectural things to it. We went through the tunnels, which was kinda scary. This place has had a lot of parts of movies taped in it. I don't really remember what the history behind it is, all I remember is that it was GORGEOUS!!!

CN Tower: It was sooo cool. It has a glass floor and you could see straight down into the baseball field.

We also took a cab ride! I don't think I will ever be doing that again. Them cab drivers are fricken CRAZY. I thought I was going to die :)

Of course we did some sightseeing...Walked around downtown...We parked in a parking deck that looked just like the one out of the movie P2...Which is really weird because that parking deck in the movie was in Toronto!!!!

But it think that's it for Toronto....Now on to NIAGARA FALLS!!!!!

Ripley's Believe it or Not- It was so fun and interesting!!! We went there last time and it was just a fun and interesting the second time...

Movieland Wax Museum- Soooo much fun to look at wax Celebs!!! They do a wonderful job on those...

Louis Tussaud's Waxworks- The best wax museum!!! So many different things in there. They had a "Scary" section....We didn't go in it...It had smoke coming out of it and creepy music, so I decided to pass on that :) We of course got A LOT of pictures...

Criminal's Hall of Fame- Wax people of all the psycho people that have killed people. It's interesting to learn about these people and how they did their killings (no I'm not psycho or crazy) I just like learning about those things...And how they had to pay for it when they got caught...

Ghostblaster Ride- OH MY GOSH!!! This was such a fun fricken ride!!! I had such a good time!!! You put on these 3D glasses and get into this cart thingy that brings you through all these scenes that you have to shoot the ghosts...This was the place that I laughed the most at...So much fun, so many laughs!!!

FX Ride Theatre- This one was fun too- You get into this big car thing and watch the movie and it sooo feels like you are in the movie :)

Galaxy Golf- I know we have them here, but I have never went, it was sooo much fun! The golf game was taking way too long, but it still was a blast...

Sky Wheel- A big Ferris wheel with these little covered cars you sit in, the have AC in them and are really neat. When you get to the top you get some really wonderful views of Niagara falls.

Konika Minolta Tower- This is in another hotel across from ours, but you ride up to the top and get the WHOLE view of Niagara Falls. I'm sooo glad we went up there because NF had such a beautiful rainbow. We took sooooo many pics.

We played a couple games in the Midway...Felt like big kids :)

My friends threw me a little surprise party for my birthday after we got back! I have wonderful friends. We all had a good time...But that is it for September

Scott's mom took us on a trip to Saginaw to see his family...And his mom spoiled me rotten and I got some new clothes....It was WONDERFUL :)

OCTOBER:
We Took another get away to Grand Rapids and did some shopping and lots of relaxing...I love getting away...I need it!!!

We went with my dad, sister, and Logan to Paul's pumpkin Patch....It was actually pretty fun there. Me, my dad, and Logan got stuck in it so we cheated and came out a long way away from the exit :)

Took a day visit out to The High Rollaways: I love it out there, it's so quiet and relaxing and Oscar LOVES running around!!! Logan was driving us back :) Ha was sitting on Uncle Scott's lap and was steering...He did a damn good job...

Halloween- We went and took pictures at The State Hospital....We were hoping we could see ghost...And we got to see one, but it wasn't real :) Some kids were filming a scary movie and someone was dressed up as a ghost :) I carved A LOT of pumpkins this year, it was so much fun.

NOVEMBER:
Lets see, what did we do in November??? I think the only thing we did in November was have Thanksgiving. And of course went to school...We went to my sister's for Thanksgiving...What a blast that was!!! We also did a Thanksgiving dinner with my mom the week after Thanksgiving...Sooooo much fun....Oscar got 21 teeth pulled :( He was sooo out of it when we brought him back home, but the next day he was right back to his old self...He looks sooo cute with being toofless :)

DECEMBER:
Let's nothing much happened in December....My parents got divorced!...We had Christmas with my mom the Sunday before Christmas at our house...Didn't have normal Christmas dinner.
Christmas Eve we had Scott's mom and her boyfriend over, My dad, My sister and Logan and Nichole's boyfriend... It was busy in our House...We of course couldn't wait til Christmas to open our presents, so we opened them a couple days before Christmas :) We also went down to my business's Christmas party...It was fun...Free Hotel, Free Good Food, Free Drinks, what's not to like :)

OK NOW 2009!!!! FINALLY!!!
New Years, we sat at home and did NOTHING it was sooo exciting!!!

JANUARY: Went down for a work meeting for the day...Wasn't that much fun, but all well. We started school AGAIN....We had A LOT of family drama this month...We "Kidnapped" my mom from her psycho boyfriend and shipped her off to Florida...And now her and my dad are back together...My family is full of drama and very stupid!!!....But that is it....

FEBRUARY:
Took a trip to Grand Rapids....Needed some time to get away!!! We also had to get a tux for Scott's brothers wedding that is coming up in May...But we did find out that we didn't need to get it in GR we could of gotten it in Traverse :) All well we needed a get away trip...Valentines day was nice...I got a really pretty necklace and ring and flowers...I made Scott his favorite meal...We went and seen Friday the 13th...I know, what a romantic movie :)...It was really good though...
We started diets!!!! Doing OK so far...I'm not wanting to lose weight as quickly as I should...I'm just watching what I eat and eating less which seems to be working, so that's good. We also bought a membership to the gym...We have gone twice so far :) which I'm surprised that we have gone that many times :) We will get into a routine and it will get better...I think that's it for February

MARCH- It has just started...Nothing much has happened soo far...My mom is coming back soon...They want to sell the house and move to Florida, but I don't think that is going to happen...So we will wait and see....

But I PROMISE I will update this monthly...Even if nothing happens in our EXCITING life, I will still write...Oh and if anyone reads this and they want to know....Scott has not found a job yet...The Government is still paying him :)
